School Site Council

The Lawrence Cook School Site Council is an advisory body with elected representatives that include teachers, parents, students, administrators and staff. The Council oversees the school budget, the school safety plan, staff development, testing results and the School Improvement Program.

School Improvement Program funds are administered by the School Site Council to provide for programs that are responsive to our school’s needs and support our children’s education.

School Site Council meetings are open to the public and take place in the Lawrence Middle School Library.  Dates and times to be published at least 3 days (72 hours prior to the meeting).

Site Council members are elected and serve a 2 year term.

Site Council meets the 4th Wednesday of each month at 3:15pm in the library.

Elections for the School Site Council are held at the beginning of the school year. If you are interested in serving on the Lawrence Cook Site Council, please contact (707) 528-5156.
