Learning and building skills for 21st Century Jobs.  So much work lies ahead in the next several years.  After the devastating fires in our area and in other areas of California, more skilled workers will be needed for the next five, ten years or longer.  We already have a shortage of workers for taking care of our infrastructure of roads, buildings, water ways, and services.

Common Core Standards and the ways we are changing our school and education, in general, are all about preparing our students for the years ahead.

Yes, it is all about building skills.  We are all about getting our students ready for high school and beyond.

BUT, STUDENTS!  You need to attend school every day.  You can not develop skills or learn information if you are not here.

Practice civil discourse and good listening skills in the classroom and outside.

Be here and build yourself.
